Good fortune lay in the recording studio choice. Reliable studios and engineers are difficult to find.
To be able to produce quality tracks you need an engineer who is capable of handling the recording process and the band while capturing the key moments in the studio. Someone who can also suggest the subtle improvements which can be more easilly seen from his side of the microphone. Substation provided this. It was aparant from the start of recording that they were determined to provide a polished result.
Throughout the journey from rehearsal suite to Cathkin Park it was obvious this would be third time lucky.
